There's a courtyard in Granada where twelve stone lions have stood guard over a fountain for over 600 years, watching sunlight move across carved marble arches. It's called the Patio de los Leones ,the Court of the Lions and it sits at the heart of the Alhambra, one of the most breathtaking places Andalusian craftsmanship ever built.
